Mexican Treasures...Sea Glass and Pottery
Here at Lake Michigan Beach Glass, (LMBG), our Pacific Sea Glass division features genuine, hand selected, sea glass uncovered from tidal mounds, remote rugged beaches as well as distant islands from Canada to Mexico. 

Unfortunately, due to recycling and an expanded awareness of our environment footprint, there is less trash being tossed into our oceans and rivers. Then again, glass has largely been replaced by plastic. As the availability of high quality sea glass continues to become harder to find, we have found it necessary to travel to increasingly remote areas to find high quality sea glass

The majority of the sea glass that we are looking for has been tumbling around in the sea and among the rocks for years.  We only select and sell genuine sea glass that has formed naturally and will feature deep pitting (frosting) and exudes a light crystalline patina all over causing it to reflect the sunlight. These are the gems that catch our eyes as we stalk the beaches. 

So, come with us and experience our travels as we seek out these vanishing gems. Go barefoot in the sand as your troubles wash away...remember any day at the beach is a good day. 

During our winter travels to different areas of Mexico, we have discovered areas that revealed their beach treasures to us... fabulous greys, blues, greens, pinks, yellows, whites.  We have found piles of pottery and glass tiles.
